It was surprising to find a neighborhood teeming with Asian restaurants only a few blocks from the famous Louvre Museum in the center of Paris. It was raining that evening and the streets glowed with the colorful reflections of the city lights, but it was this welcoming refuge that caught my eye. The diners were both relaxed and yet animated as they enjoyed their meals as well as each other's companionship.
