Window To The Soul

San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, built in 1793, typifies the stuccoed architecture of the Spanish Colonial period. With its beautiful courtyard, San Felipe de Neri Church is one of the oldest buildings in Albuquerque, NM. I arrived mid-afternoon in historic Old Town. The sun was high and wasn't expecting much to photograph in the contrasty light. I photographed some of the artistry of the interior. Then wandering into the courtyard, I stumbled into this scene as though it was waiting for me!
