Artist Statement- Marianne Hamer
When I began looking at light as a carrier of emotion it soon became my goal to find a way to use light to develop the emotion of a photograph without using people or animals. With that thought in mind my goal was to find images or create images where light clearly impacted the viewer's emotions, whether through the behavior of light itself as it interacts with the scenery or the deliberate manipulation of the camera equipment or post processing to arrive at something that creates an emotion in the viewer.
