After a professional classical singing career and time spent as an interior designer, I wanted to make some art. I took painting classes from Mark Weber, Donna Yeager and Judy Talmadge, but the class I took from Deb Pettid was the beginning for me. She taught how to make paper mache sculptures and I became a member of Images Art Gallery six years ago with whimsical animal heads. Since then I have branched out into acrylic and mixed media painting, oil and cold wax, collage with hand painted papers, and am currently interested in mixed media abstracts.
